Cantina Bottenago

Where the vineyards end,themagic begins.

Our story begins in Polpenazze del Garda, amidst the rolling hills of Valtènesi. Here we cultivate our vineyards and have created a winery designed not only to produce exceptional wines, but for exceptional hospitality.

Inside, contemporary design meets the use of refined materials. Outside, Lake Garda, endless rows of vines, and the golden light of sunset.

Between the two are the people we welcome: whether for a wine tasting, a wedding celebration, or a corporate event.

Long before us,this land hada story to tell

Just a few kilometers away, in 268 AD, emperor Claudius Gothicus defeated the Alemanni on the shores of Lake Garda, securing one of the victories that helped preserve the Roman Empire.

A roman villa,an ancient coin,a symbol.

Beneath our vineyards, on the land of the Goffi family, lie the remains of a Roman villa. Now being carefully restored in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Archaeological Superintendency of Brescia, it will soon welcome visitors once again.

Among the discoveries was an ancient coin, the inspiration for the emblem that now appears on every bottle we produce.

Our winery may have been founded in 2018, but this is a land with a far older story. That story continues throughout our estate. On the ground floor, Lino, our resident artist, celebrates the vineyard and the spirit of hospitality through his murals. On the floor below, the legacy of the ancient Romans who came before us.

Valtènesi and the lake, cultivated bythe same family.

We cultivate 55 hectares of vineyards in Valtènesi and 30 along the lake, with a further 10 hectares set to join our estate over the coming years. Different soils, different exposures, guided by the same dedication and care.

In the winery, we work sustainably, respecting both the land and the natural rhythm of each harvest. Every vintage is guided by the same philosophy: allowing the terroir to speak for itself.
